The ascertained results of IncluSTEM will be used for cross-institutional staff training . These measures will ensure that the main target group can make well-informed decisions, get special support when needed and therefore have a more successful study experience. This will hopefully contribute to a higher retention rate among the students as well as raise awareness for the special needs of the main target group across the staff members.
Specific workshops aimed at Language Center teachers will be part of IO5 in order to ensure a well-functioning implementation of these measures.
The staff trainings will ensure that the staff involved is well-prepared and informed about the student’s special needs and challenges. This will help build more inclusive higher education institutions. We have carried our two trainings, on on Incterculturality and one on refugees in higher education.
